Evans Richard C. Went home to be with the Lord on April 10, 2003 of Voorhees, NJ. Formerly of Pennsauken. Age 84 years. Predeceased by his first wife Thelma (nee Hermesman). Beloved husband of 27 years of Helen Pat (nee Schwarz). Devoted father of Diane Rudolph and her husband Arthur of Cedarville, Deborah Buck and her husband Marshall of Laurel Springs, Christine Goodman and her husband Robert of Blenheim, and Richard Evans and his wife Donna of Delran. Loving step-father of Donna Caldwell of Erial, Richard Buss of Maple Shade, Thomas Buss and his wife Jean of Aura, and Michael Buss and his wife Barbara of Hill Top. Dear grandfather of 21, great grandfather of 9. A proud US Army Veteran of WWII, he served in Europe and assisted in the liberation of 4 Jewish concentration camps. He also fought in the Battle of the Bulge. After 40 years of service to RCA in Camden as a tool & die maker, he retired in 1981. His favorite hobby was stained glass artistry and furniture caneing. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Saturday 9:00-10:30AM at the COSTANTINO FUNERAL HOME 231 W. WHITE HORSE PIKE BERLIN, NJ 08009. Funeral Liturgy 10:30AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery Cherry Hill, NJ. In lieu of flowers or other expressions of sympathy, the family requests memorial contributions to St. John of God School or Samaritan Hospice c/o the funeral home address.
