Another lovely soul has departed this earth. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to fly with "Sweetie" at ATA for several years. She always exhibited a thorough enjoyment of her job as a Flight Attendant and shared her humor and laughter with the crews and passengers. Fly high with the Angels, Sweetie.

I met Sweetie back in 1995 at KIWI Airlines. She was so much fun to be with. If you were down she knew how to cheer you up. She was one classy lady. She was beautiful on the inside as well as being beautiful on the outside. I was shocked and sadden when I heard of her passing. There will never be another sweetie.
I am glad I had the opportunity to work with her.

I am so sorry on the loss of "Sweetie". She apparently lived up to that name to a T. It is good to reflect on the love and positivity that she obviously showed. At John 5:28 & 29, we are reminded of the wonderful hope that we have of seeing our loved ones again. Hold on to that hope, and may you find support and peace among family and friends at this difficult time.

I am sorry for your lost. I had the great privilege of working with Sweetie at ATA, she was truly a gem of a person, funny, caring. And something that stuck with me all these years she always spoke so lovingly of Tanya, when we would work together. As a mom now I completely understand it. I was saddened to hear the news.

I met Sweetie August 1994 while we were both employed at Kiwi. I remember so many fond memories - me always having to translate as to why the domesticated chicken or the weed eater could not travel in the cabin. This amongst many other crazy things that could only happen while with her.
She encouraged me to be honest to myself - to be happy, kind and productive. More importantly, to love myself no matter what. She became my airline mentor, my airline mom, my confidant. I shared so much of my life with her that I knew I could find comfort, a kind word, laughter and then seriously, an intervention on my woo wees me.
Never was she judgemental. On the contrary. She was giving, courageous, always giving and lending. Everyone who knew her loved her. We all wanted Sweetie as our Senior. Our Orlando Aruba turns were the best we had soooo much fun not only as an airline family but also with the passengers.
I loved hearing about her travels. Everything she has taught me I use it today ..
Best part of it all, Sweetie’s legacy as a flight attendant (the Widow of the Airline Industry as I called her - she shut so many airlines down!) lives on. I have a good amount of her uniforms and she was kind enough to share them with two other uniform collectors. Her Kiwi uniform is now in Buenos Aires in the private collection of an Argentinian friend on mine and two of her uniforms are in Styr, Austria (near Salzsburg) also in a private collection.
Sweetie was classy lady, a courageous woman who stood up to those mean ones at work. She had style, lots of grace and wore ALL her uniforms in the best prestine condition.
My heart is past sadden. It’s wrecked. I am so thankful to life and the opportunity to have shared my life with her and Henney (Budwiser and Hinneken too).

I will never forget Sweetie. She was my dear friend, mentor, and like a mother to me during my time at ATA. I learned so much from her. We traveled all over the world together... From Budapest to Hawaii... I will cherish those memories in my heart forever. I express my deepest sympathy to all of Sweetie’s friends and family, especially Tanya. Please feel free to reach out to me. I will be there for you.

To the "Sweetest" person I ever met.
My dear friend... It was an honor to meet and work with you at "ATA" over the years. There is not enough space to explain the great impact you had on us at ATA.. But i will mention that you never came to work empty handed, always bringing something for your friends and co-workers even if it was early in the morning. You always had a smile on your face, never in a bad mood and always willing to help anyone. You are the PERFECT example of a beautiful human being. You will be missed my dear friend!!!!
Love Always,
Floyd Hunter

Sweetie was my companion for six plus years we had good times at the Borgata and
she loved to go to Harolds for great deli. We went to England together and had a wonderful time there. I made her enter a senior talent show at Harrahs casino were she sang. Her stories of were she had flown to and the pictures she had taken were wonderful. I will miss her and hope she is in a wonderful place free of pain.

Sweetie was my "big sister" my protector, my confidant and the best friend one could ask for!
I spoke to Sweetie last Tuesday, just a few days before she passed. We laughed and joked and then she told me that she was having some health issues, which were on going.. finally our conversation came to a close and we ended it like we always did. I told her I loved her and she said the same.
I am so thankful those were our final words we said.
I miss you but know I will see you again.
RIP Sis!!!
