I’m so sorry to hear of Sonny’s passing. I met Sonny one time at the last CR meeting. I was introduced as a student, and when the speakers were finished, Sonny came over to me and introduced himself and offered any advice he could give. I was so impressed and taken by this sweet, kind man, and I immediately knew he loved his profession. I can’t only imagine how much he loved his family. God bless such a kind human being. My deepest condolences are with Sonny’s family and friends at this difficult time.

Thank you for being a constant loving presence in my life. I cherish all of the memories our families have shared over the years. I have so many fond memories of you, Aunt Ruth, Jennifer and Christopher growing up and I would give anything to hear one of your corny "dad" jokes again. My mother ADORED her baby brother and looked forward to all of your visits on your way to pick up Aunt Ruth at work. My dad is heartbroken as you were like a younger brother to him. We will all miss you dearly but remember you fondly. You certainly are in good company right now. Rest in peace Uncle Sonny. Until we meet again. xoxoxo

A wonderful "paison" from West Berlin, who was a great kith to my Turner relatives and an encouragement to me in my law career whenever I ran into him at the Courthouse! He was a kind and gentle man with a wonderful sense of humor! See you in heaven my friend!

I had the privilege of knowing Sonny for many years, often working with him in Gloucester County. He was so kind and thoughtful, his temperament was always upbeat and friendly. He was devoted to his wife and family. He loved being a court reporter and was a pioneer in creating brief forms, sharing them with you whenever you saw him. He will be missed in the court reporting world. I have many happy memories of time spent with him and I will miss seeing my dear friend at CCRA events.

I knew Sonny as a fellow court reporter and a dear friend. I would run into him from time to time at a law office as were both there for depositions. I always looked forward to seeing him at our court reporter conventions and I enjoyed his sense of humor, his kindness and his pleasant smile. I will miss him. RIP Sonny.
