Tom and Rosie, Tommy and PJ: I am so very sorry. I did not know that your Mom/Grandmom passed away. What a fantastic life to live to be 96 years old. My thoughts, and prayers, and love to each of you. Suzy Howell

I've known Mary Coombs since I was a kid living a block down the street from her. She was always kind and had a laugh that I always enjoyed hearing. The last time I saw her, she was on a shopping trip at Voorhees Town Center. She told me she was looking for a winter coat. She said she would be moving to assisted living soon. We are all better for having known her and her family.
Love and Prayers to her family, Judy Dern Forman

Mrs. Coombs was simply a great example of love and patience. She allowed the neighborhood kids to make forts (which included digging holes in their yard) climb trees, burn leaves any many other things that made growing up next door fun. Her children were special friends and you were always welcome to their home. Prayers the family

Loved this lady! I worked at the original Heritage for Mr and Mrs Coombs for several years. She was always such a spitfire and on the run going here and there and bossing Mr Coombs around! They were so funny together. My deepest condolences to the entire Coombs family. Lite a candle to match the color of those uniforms we always had to wear! Lol

I grew up right across the street. Mrs. Coombs was simply the greatest "neighbor mom" - period. Others were very nice, but none quite like her. And later when I'd stop by as we both were much older, she was still just full of love and kindness. I'd get an "oh, Joey" right up to about age 66 when I last saw her
I'd like to quote my dad who told me on more than one occasion "if there is a heaven 3 people deserving are your mom, your Aunt Ricky (his sister) and Mary Coombs (who was both our neighbor and sister to his best friend, Ed). She deserved to make the short list!

My condolences to immediate family❤️ . Mary was the sweetest kindest woman I’ve had the pleasure to first meet back in late 80’s, a pleasure to work under in retail till she retired, and a pleasure to become eventually part of her family. A beautiful angel of a woman right here!, who I know definitely got her wings! R.I.P. Angel Mary .
