Obituary of Rosemary B. Casey
Rosemary B. Casey (née Chance), age 77 years, of Pace Florida passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, November 12, 2020. Born in Philadelphia, she grew up in Berlin Borough NJ and was a graduate of Camden Catholic High School. She worked as an Administrative Assistant at Glaxo SmithKline in Philadelphia and then as an Office Management Specialist in the Foreign Service branch of the State Department. Rosemary was proud to be a member of the Foreign Service and loved to travel extensively meeting Presidents, Dignitaries, Actors and new friends from around the world. She was an author. She loved to write, cook, paint and entertain. She was a devoted mother, Mom-mom and Gigi and was incredibly proud of her large family.
She was predeceased by her parents Ronald Joseph and Elizabeth Margaret Chance and her sister, Theresa DeVivo. She is survived by two sons and three daughters, William R. Casey (Sonia), Berlin NJ, David S. Casey, Pace FL, Theresa M. Casey, Springfield MO, Deborah A. Meador (Wesley), Cordele GA, and Michele Hutson (Timothy) of Pace FL. Five brothers and 4 sisters, Ronald C. Chance (Barbara), Hammonton, Gerard T. Chance, Coatesville, PA, Dennis T. Chance Berlin, Patrick R. Chance, Berlin, John L. Chance, Blue Anchor, Elizabeth “Bonnie” Deery (Ted), Berlin, Mary E Sherman (Chet), Berlin, Diane K Straub (Bob) Berlin, Doris L. Chance, Berlin, 11 Grandchildren: Sean Casey, Christopher Casey, Patrick Casey, Christen Jeckell, Zachary Casey, John-Michael Casey , Connor Meador, David Casey, Lauren Casey, Cheyenne Casey, and Casey Hutson; 2 great grandchildren, Lilly and Ella and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Family and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday evening November 20th from 4:00PM-7:00PM and on Saturday morning from 9:00AM-10:30AM at the COSTANTINO-PRIMO FUNERAL HOME, 231 W. WHITE HORSE PIKE, BERLIN NJ. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00AM St. Simon Stock Church, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Campus, 178 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin NJ. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin. Due to the current regulations, face masks must be worn, and attendance will be limited to follow all COVID-19 guidelines. For those unable to attend the services in person, a link will be posted below for you to join virtually. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Dawn’s Place, in care of the funeral home at the above address.
