Obituary of John Carlton Moxford Sr.

Please share a memory of John to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

John Carlton Moxford Sr., 74 years, of Williamstown NJ, passed away on January 5, 2021. Beloved husband of Jane H. Moxford (née Gallagher). Loving father of Jane Moxford and the late John C. Moxford, Jr. Dear brother of Elizabeth Simpson, Dorothy Moxford (Andrew) and James Moxford. Also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

A devoted husband and father, John was well known for his friendly smile, generosity and kind words to everyone. Also a local legend in the manufacturing industry, he was a talented mechanical and metallurgical engineer. Most of all, he was a humble, practical and loving family man that always put family above all. No matter how hard he worked, waking up at 4 am every day to get home late at night - he always made time for many family vacations in the motorhome and boating with family and friends down the NJ shore. Words cannot fully express how much he will be missed by his family and friends.

A graveside service and interment for John will take place in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin NJ on Tuesday January 12, 2021 starting promptly at 12:00PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions to either St. John of God at 1145 Delsea Dr, Westville, NJ 08093 OR the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at 3 International Drive, Suite 200 Rye Brook, NY 10573 in memory of John. Arrangements under the direction of the COSTANTINO-PRIMO FUNERAL HOME, BERLIN NJ.
