Obituary of Richard Paul, Sr.

Richard Paul, Sr., 75 years, of Lindenwold NJ, passed away on January 15, 2021. Beloved husband of Ruth Ann Paul (née Hacker). Loving father of Richard (Denise) Paul, Jr., Christopher (April) Paul, Catherine Smith (McDonald) and John James Paul. Dear brother of Marguerite Wisser, Robert G. Paul and Evelyn D. Golley. Cherished grandfather of Sarah Moreira (Kevin), Alexis Harper (James), Christopher Paul Jr and Natalieanne Paul and great grandfather of KJ and Aiden. Also survived by countless nieces and nephews.

 

Rick was a graduate of Haddonfield High School. Over the years, Rick worked for the Atlantic refinery, ARCO, Sun Oil, and part-time at JC Penney. In the 70’s he worked in Alaska on the pipeline. More recently he devoted so much time and endlessly did work for the American Red Cross as the Disaster Director for Camden and Burlington counties.

 

Rick served on the Lindenwold School Board and served on the Lindenwold Council.  He was also a football coach for the Linden Boro Chargers. In the little bit of free time he had, he loved drinking his iced tea and laying in the sun by the pool.

 

Services and interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin NJ will take place privately. Arrangements under the direction of the COSTANTINO-PRIMO FUNERAL HOME, 231 W. WHITE HORSE PIKE, BERLIN NJ 08009.
