Obituary of Catheryn Gail Oliver

Catheryn Gail Oliver (née Carr), 65 years, of Clementon NJ, passed away on February 12, 2021. Daughter of the late Jefferson Carl and Sarah J. Carr (née Turner). Loving mother of Julian L. Oliver, Jule-leal Oliver and Braheim T. Oliver. Cherished grandmother of Keyanna Oliver, Keyaira Oliver, Shayla Oliver, Kaden Oliver, Ramona Oliver and Braheim Oliver Jr and great grandmother of Jeremiah Spencer, Erica Mc Fadden and Eden Brittenham. Dear sister of Linda Onyenaka, Marvin Carr, Jefferson Carr Jr. and Anderson Carr. Loving aunt of Maraizu Onyenaka, Bernadette Onyenaka, Ngozi Onyenaka and Tavares Ward. Niece of Annette Turner along with a host of other aunts and uncles. Cousin of Beverly Crawford and many others. Also survived by a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends including her best friend Karen M. Grego. Catheryn was preceded in death by her ex-husband Julius Oliver and her younger brother Marcus Carr.

 

Catheryn was a long-time member of the Solid Rock Baptist Church in Berlin NJ where she loved singing in the church choir. She enjoyed spending time with her family and doing crossword puzzles. Catheryn was a lover of God, her Family, and her grand-dog KoKo.

 

Some of her favorite Bible quotes were: Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your path straight." Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Philippians 4:19 "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."

 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service on Sunday evening 5:30PM at the Solid Rock Baptist Church, 420 S. White Horse Pike Berlin NJ 08009. Visitation with the family and friends beginning at 4:30PM with coffee and light refreshments prior to the memorial service. Due to the current regulations, face masks must be worn, and attendance will be limited to follow all COVID-19 guidelines.
