Obituary of Ralph Cioffi
On February 14, 2021 longtime resident of West Berlin, NJ. Age 89 years. Devoted father of Ralph Cioffi, Jr., Alice Panichello (Ralph Peterson) and Dennis Cioffi. Proud grandfather of Christopher Cioffi. Dear brother of Frank Cioffi and William Cioffi. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Ralph is predeceased by his parents Frank and Alice (née Melfi), his brothers; Albert, Rudy, Victor and his son in law Bob Panichello.
Ralph was owner & operator of Berlin Exxon for many years and was Past President of the NJ Gasoline Retailers. He was a United States Army Veteran serving his country during the Korean War and a member of American Legion Post 371 Gibbsboro for more the 32 years. Ralph was Past President of Edgewood Investment Club, director of the Delaware Valley Chapter of the non-profit, National Association of Investors Corp. and local coordinator for the AAARP tax counseling for the elderly for over 20 years. He was a member of the medical ethics advisory committee for Kennedy Health Systems and Our Lady of Lourdes Health System and a volunteer for many years with the American Heart Association helping out with the annual MS Walk.
Ralph enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved going to the gym, volunteering with local organizations, singing with his family at all family functions, was a faithful and devoted member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish St. Lawrence Church and giving back to the community he loved so much.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday morning 9:30AM-11:00AM Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish St. Lawrence Church 135 N. White Horse Pike Lindenwold, NJ 08021. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00AM. Interment with military honors will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery Berlin, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Alzheimer's Association South Jersey Chapter 3 Eves Dr. Suite 310 Marlton, NJ 08053 would be appreciated.
