I knew Charlie through the Korean War Veterans chapter 54.
Charlie was an officer of the chapter and helped raise a signifacent amount of money for charity. He was a no nonsense guy when fundraising. My last meeting with Charlie was at our Walmart site in Marlton. Charlie was very charming when people gave money to our chapter.
I pray for Charlie as he travels to his home in Heaven, that God will make his travel safe and welcome him as a good soldier for God.
God grant that Charlie’s family finds solace as they remember that he lived a long productive life and left the family with many good memories.
The Korean War Veterans will miss their Brother and we pray for his soul and offer our condolences to his Family. Amen Chaplain Kenneth Mills

We had the pleasure of sharing a Christmas with Charlie in our home. We always hoped to be able to do it again. He was a man of great character whose accomplishments include the wonderful family he inspired. It is a blessing to have known him and to know those he has inspired. We are sorry we will not share another Christmas, but he will be in our thoughts. Sincere condolences to the family.

Neighbors of Val and Joe. We enjoyed Charlie’s visits. A very special guy. He could contribute to any conversation and knowledgeable on many subjects. A wry sense of humor and a happy kind person. We had a bad snow one winter and the “boys” were trying to get the snowblower working. Meanwhile Charlie and I quietly shoveled the driveway. Chuckling to ourselves and our accomplishment. The irony of a senior citizen and almost one doing that.. What a champ
Miss you Charlie and love your family. Enjoy heaven

Charlie was a good-looking man of strong convictions and the willingness to share them. I will always remember the intensity of those blue eyes that obviously had witnessed a great deal in his very long life. My love and sincere condolences to his sweet children, his family and his friends. May he Rest In Peace.

My best memories of Uncle Charlie were the many lunches (Grilled Cheese) we had together at Dewey's Restaurant when I worked for him in the Mortgage Department of Liberty Federal Savings & Loan. I was fortunate to have had that time with him, getting to know him. Uncle Charlie was also instrumental in helping me get accepted into Villanova University with a Letter of Reference he sent to Dean Clay of the Business School. I never forgot our lunches, sitting at the Dewey's Counter and I never forgot the Villanova assist. I was sorry to learn that he passed and my thoughts and prayers are with the extended Kerber Family.
Rest in Peace, Uncle Charlie.

Edith and I have fond memories of sitting around my sister’s house in Sea Isle City, and chatting with Charley on diverse matters, often political. On a few occasions, my father-in-law Don Selina joined us in our visit to Marlene, and Charlie and Don, together with his Charley’s buddies “Coach” and “Irish Bob” would entertain themselves for hours, “swapping lies” as Don would describe it.
I am writing this memory wearing a red Pennsauken High School sweat-shirt that Charley gave me at our last meeting a few years ago, together with a story. Together with other war veterans, Charley spoke at various high schools, recounting his experiences in Korea. One of those schools was Pennsauken High School, who presented Charley with the sweatshirt in appreciation. He remembered that I was a PHS graduate, and brought the sweatshirt to give me.
May the memory of Charley be a blessing to all his family and friends.

88th birthday shoutout on FB - " Sometimes there's a man... I'll say a hero, 'cause he's a hero. But sometimes, there's a man. And I'm talking about 'The Kerb', 'Los Kerb', 'Pop-pop' or 'Dr Ralph' here. Sometimes there's a man, well, there's a man, well, he's the man for his time and place. He fits right in there. And that's The Kerb... The Kerb from Lenola. Happy 88th Dad!
