Obituary of Salvatore Bonamassa, Jr.

Salvatore Bonamassa, Jr., on April 14, 2021 of Berlin NJ, Age 80 years.  Beloved husband of Mary (née Wesley).  Son of the late Salvatore and Antionette (née Mignone) and step-son of Martha Chrisanti. Devoted father of Nannette Thompson and her husband Brian and Salvatore Bonamassa, III and his wife Michelle (née Cipriano). Loving brother of Michael Bonamassa and his wife Paula, Stephen Bonamassa and his wife Danielle and the late Nicholas Bonamassa.  Proud grandfather of Paige Thompson, Natalie Bonamassa, Ashley Thompson, Julia Bonamassa and Jessica Bonamassa.  Also survived by his nieces and nephews Samantha Bonamassa, Charise Branco, Alexis Bonamassa, Paul Bonamassa and his family.  

Sal was the owner along with his son Sal, III of Search Exterminators, LLC of Berlin.  Sal was a loving family man, patriot and a US Navy Veteran serving aboard the Nuclear Submarine USS Skate from 1958 to 1964. Sal was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish and enjoyed spending as much time as he could at his cabin in Maine. Sal enjoyed sharing his life experiences with all who would listen. More than anything, he cherished his time with his granddaughters and his family. 

Relatives and Friends are invited to his viewing Wednesday April 21, 2021 from 9:30AM to 10:30AM at the COSTANTINO-PRIMO FUNERAL HOME, 231 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM at Saint Simon Stock RC Church, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Campus, 178 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009.  Interment with military honors in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin, NJ.  Due to the current regulations, face masks must be worn, and attendance will be limited to follow all COVID-19 guidelines.
