Obituary of Michael Romano

Michael Romano, 95 years, of Margate NJ, passed away on August 6, 2021. Son of the late Nicholas and Anastasia (née Meoli) Romano. Beloved husband of Gilda (née DeGiuseppi) Romano. Loving father of Cynthia Steinbrecher (David). Dear brother of Angeline Serago and the late William Romano. Cherished grandfather of Jill Buchman (Gal), Caryn Guido (Eduardo) and great grandfather of Ella Sivan Buchman. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and his grand dog Pellachita

Michael was a proud US Navy Veteran who served during WWII. He was a member of the Anglers Club of Margate NJ. He loved the Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles and 76er’s. Fishing and cooking with his wife were some of his favorite pastimes. Before retiring, Michael worked at the Roosevelt Paper Company for 44 years.

Services and entombment in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Cherry Hill NJ, will take place privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Michael’s name to the American Cancer Society at 1851 Old Cuthbert Rd. Cherry Hill NJ 08003 would be appreciated.
