Obituary of Megan Paige Robinson
Megan Paige Robinson, 28, of Brooklyn NY, passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021. Megan was raised in the Erial section of Sicklerville, NJ. Megan is survived by her beloved parents Bill and Bernadette, Berni, Robinson (née Sapio) of Sicklerville, NJ; her brother Patrick Robinson of Sicklerville, NJ; Maternal Grandparents Michael and Dorothy (née Cheesman) Sapio of Villas, NJ; and Paternal Grandparents Jack and, the late, Eileen (née Hegarty) Robinson, formerly of Laurel Springs, NJ. She was also survived by her cousins and best friends, Charlie and Emily Francis, Cassie and Brian Fahy, Michelle Panasiti, Mishka Sistrunk, Viv Chavez, Jane Diesel, Maggie Siebert, Sarah Sosalla, Linda Harvey, and Anthony Dragonetti, as well as many more aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and co-workers.
Megan was a 2011 graduate of Timber Creek High of Sicklerville, NJ. After high school she attended Rutgers University, class of 2015 and received her degree in Bachelor of Science with a concentration of Computer Sciences. Megan was last employed as a Software Engineer for Google in Manhattan, NY where she developed and maintained Google Keep on Android. Prior to that she worked as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon, in New York, as well as a Mobile Application Developer at Rutgers University.
Megan's hobbies included listening to podcasts, working on video game development, and functional programming, she also loved Set Theory. In her own time, she enjoyed creating a FTP Client using the Haskell programming language, which helps download files seamlessly. She also enjoyed playing many video games especially, Path of Exile. Megan was also creating a video game which was based around her favorite gaming genre, Metroidvania.
Megan's latest accomplishment with her friends was that they were starting to publish writings. Megan was passionate and excited about this endeavor, being the major financier of the project. Her family and friends have decided to carry out her legacy using Harsh Lit Publications to publish an Anthology and dedicate it to Megan Paige Robinson.
Megan can be described as someone who loved comedy, films, gaming, reading, coding, and playing board games. Megan enjoyed vacationing in Myrtle Beach and crabbing at the shore with her family. Most of all she loved to laugh and spend time with her family and friends. She will be missed by those who loved her most.
Megan’s family will receive family and friends on Saturday, September 25th, 2021 from 9:00AM to 11:00AM with a service to follow 11:00 AM, at the COSTANTINO-PRIMO FUNERAL HOME, 231 W.
