Obituary of Christa Miles

Christa Miles (née Karg), 80 years, of Philadelphia PA, passed away on September 30, 2021. Daughter of the late Michael and Therehs (née Enslin) Karg. Survived by and cherished by her loving daughter Monika Hopkins; grandchildren WibertEarl Hopkins Jr., Calena Hopkins and Lissy Hopkins; great grandchildren Glorie Calderon, Destiny Hopkins, Chyann Long and Wilbert Hopkins III; and great great granddaughter Nevaeh Johnson. Also survived by her pet Queenie.

 

Christa, affectionately called Oma, was a sweet, fun and loving mother and grandmother. Her daughter Monika was her best friend, they did everything together and when you saw one you saw the other. She enjoyed playing XBox and was really good at it, she enjoyed spending time with family especially when everyone came together the most. She liked to do paint by numbers and crossword puzzles, listen to techno music and enjoyed noodles and coffee ice cream; she was always curious about new things and loved to laugh.

 

Services and interment for Oma will take place privately. In lieu of flowers, donations to either a local animal shelter or breast cancer society in her name would be appreciated.
