William was a passionate scholar, mentor, and disciple of Christ. While an educator at his core, his world was his children and family. William cherished his family and enjoyed being a father and never missed an opportunity to demonstrate his love for his children. He was a natural at instilling values and character into his children because being an educator was the root of who he was. Since being a father filled his heart, becoming a grandfather lit up his spirit. His grandchildren brought immense joy to his life.
Teaching was tailormade for William. William was an educator who practiced what he taught and was steadfast in details. Apart from his love of learning, he often sought out reliable and citable resources for a holistic understanding. From textbook to Biblical studies, the approach was always learning to understand, and then understanding to teach.
