Obituary of Ethel E. Kernan

Ethel "Eileen" Kernan (née Ferster), 76 years, of Berlin NJ, passed away on December 29, 2021. Daughter of the late Erwin and Ethel (née Ermel) Ferster. Mother of Robert F. Kernan, Jr. (Kim) and Michael Kernan (Lindsey). Sister of Elaine Alspach (Richard) and the late Erwin Ferster (Cookie). Grandmother of 5. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was a loyal employee of Bell telephone for 35 years, where she met many lifelong friends. She also worked as a court recorder for many Camden County towns. Eileen loved vacationing and spending time on the beach in Ocean City NJ, and enjoyed chatting away on the phone with her friends and family. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday January 7^th from 9:30AM to 11:00AM at the COSTANTINO-PRIMO FUNERAL HOME, 231 W. WHITE HORSE PIKE, BERLIN NJ 08009. Memorial service 11:00AM at the funeral home. Interment of ashes will take place privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions to either the Breast Cancer Research Foundation at 28 W. 44^th St Suite 609, New York NY 10036 or to the American Heart Association at 1 Union St Suite 301 Robbinsville NJ 08691 would be appreciated.
