Obituary of Philip C. McGarvey

Philip C. McGarvey, 91 years, of Philadelphia passed away on January 17, 2022. Son of the late Philip and the late Martha McGarvey (nee Peltz).  Predeceased by his wife Margo McGarvey.  Loving father of Lorraine Armento, Philip (Doreen) McGarvey, Marie (Dave) Meglio, Joyce-Anne (Ron Barnett) Kinsey, Thomas (Jacqui) McGarvey.  Dear brother of Eugene McGarvey and the late Harry (Margaret) McGarvey, the late Therese (Albert) Pastor, and the late Joseph (Patricia) McGarvey.  Cherished grandfather of Sharon, Michelle, Cara, Stacey, Christine, Philip, James, David, Sean, Hunter, Jeanne and Devon.  Great Grandfather of 15.  

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his viewing on Monday morning from 10:00-11:00 AM at Saint John Cantius Parish, 4415 Almond Street, Philadelphia, PA . Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM at the church. Interment with military honors to follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, 4268 Richmond Street, Philadelphia, PA.  The family requests that all attendees wear masks.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Philip's memory to the Philadelphia SPCA, 350 E.
