Obituary of Joseph D. Marchione

Joseph D. Marchione, a long-time resident of Cherry Hill NJ, passed away on January 15, 2022, aged 82 years.

Joseph grew up in the Frankford section of Philadelphia as the youngest of four to Italian immigrant parents. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Cold War era, and later graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in General Science. He was a freelance technical writer with a career spanning numerous high-tech industries before retiring. In his free time, he most enjoyed listening to big band music, especially Frank Sinatra and anything from the 1920s, 30s, and 40s.

He is survived by his wife, Charla Ann Marchione. Loving father of Mark (Laura) Marchione, Charles Marchione, and Janna Marchione. Devoted grandfather of Isla, Phoebe, and Keira Marchione. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, and their children.

Joseph succumbed to COVID-19 after a long illness and will be missed by all who knew him.

Services and interment for Joseph will take place privately. Arrangements under the direction of the COSTANTINO-PRIMO FUNERAL HOME, BERLIN NJ.
