Obituary of Rose Marie Rakita

Rose Marie Rakita (née Banning), 80 years, of Blackwood NJ formerly of Port Charlotte FL, passed away on February 16, 2022. Daughter of the late John and Georgana (née Lafferty) Banning. Beloved wife of the late Richard Cooklin and the late William Rakita. Loving mother of Richard Cooklin, Cathleen Cooklin and the late Deborah Mooney (Donald, who was also her caretaker) and step mother of Debbie Lowell, Chris Reillo and Margie Rakita. Dear sister of the late Kass Banning and Jack Banning. Cherished grandmother of Rich, Rachel, Rosie, DJ, Jacob, Matthew, Autumn, Bill, Jim, Patrick, Sean, Erin and Heather and great grandmother of 11. Also survived by her niece Eileen Smith.
 

Rose always enjoyed being with her friends and family and going to the casino.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday morning from 9:30AM to 11:00AM at the COSTANTINO-PRIMO FUNERAL HOME, 231 W. WHITE HORSE PIKE, BERLIN NJ 08009. Funeral service 11:00AM at the funeral home. Interment will take place privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association at 3 Eves Dr. Suite 310, Marlton NJ 08053 would be appreciated.
