Obituary of Roy John Stetser

Roy John Stetser, 70 years, of the Waterford section of Winslow Township New Jersey passed away suddenly on Friday February18, 2022.

 

He worked in construction from the age of 16 until he retired to pursue his passion of watching the birds and weather channel.

 

Roy was one of eight children to the late Joseph and Myrtle Stetser (née Potter); Beloved husband to his wife of 44 years, Sandra Stetser (née Shotwell); Devoted father to his late daughters; Danielle (Daniel Sr.) Kohler and Kelly Rettberg; and surviving daughter Nicole (Jason) Stetser-Bender. Loving Poppop to Amber and Chelsea (Rob) Rettberg, Kiersten, Madison, Daniel Jr. (Erin), and Jacob Kohler, and Jaylynn Stetser-Bender. Loving great-”pops” to Logan Ballinghoff. 

 

He is also survived by his three siblings Alfred (Linda) Stetser, Gary (Veronica) Stetser, and Mary (David) Lane, his sister-in-law Sheila (John) Wagner (née Shotwell), and many nieces and nephews.

 

Cremation and services will take place privately. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Roy’s name to the Food Bank of South Jersey, 1501 Tipton Blvd. Pennsauken NJ 08110.
