Obituary of Madeline B. Lofgren

Madeline B. "Mat" Lofgren (née Baumbach), 76 years of Lindenwold, NJ, passed away on April 1^st, 2022.  Beloved wife of Gary Lofgren; Devoted mother of Gregory (Dorene) Lofgren of Moorestown, Jeff Lofgren of Mt. Laurel; Cherished Grandmother of Melody, Noelle, and Juliette; Loving Sister of Virginia (the late John) Madkiff, the late Geraldine (Billy) Herrington, the late Lavinia (the late Paul) Ausburn; and “Aunt Mat” to many nephews, nieces, and cousins. 

Mat, born in Millville, NJ and graduate of Glassboro State College, enjoyed a 20+ year career as an elementary school teacher at John Glenn School in Pine Hill, NJ.  She was an avid bowler and secretary of the bowling league for many years.  She enjoyed spending time with family, traveling the world, and attending sporting events of all kinds.  Mat will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday, April 6^th from 4pm to 7pm at COSTANTINO-PRIMO FUNERAL HOME, 231 W. WHITE HORSE PIKE, BERLIN, NJ 08009.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, April 7^th at 10:30am, at our Lady of Good Council Church, 42 W. Main Street, Moorestown, NJ 08057; There will be no Thursday viewing.  Interment will take place privately.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105 would be appreciated.  Please use the links on this page to leave lasting condolences or photos.
