Obituary of Jacqulyn M. Cassario

Jacqulyn M. Cassario (née Davies), 89 years, of Berlin NJ, passed away on April 2, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Daughter of the late Eva Mae (née Bakely) and Howard M. Davies. Beloved wife of the late William E. Cassario and companion of Robert Lawrence. Loving Mother of Roxan Schneider (Peter), Cheryl Cook, and Kimberly Jacobs (Michael). Dear Sister of Lillian Cornwell, Mary Cecilio, Linda Cease and the late Herbert. Cherished Grandmother of Nicol Flynn (Anthony), Jesse Festenstine, Rylee Jacobs and the late Joshua Festenstine. Great Grandmother to Alexander and Will Flynn.

Jackie's life was truly about the love of her family, who she spent most of her free time with. Having her loved ones under one roof whenever possible was precious to her! She had an incredibly deep love and devotion to her family and anyone she cared for.

Jackie was a lifelong resident of the Atco Berlin Area where she lived most of her life, until retirement when she split her time between New Jersey and Florida.

In 1948 she was crowned Miss Atco. Jackie was involved in many community activities, wherever she was. It was at her job at the original Berlin Diner that she met her future husband William “Bill” Cassario. Her career, after studying and hard work led her to West Jersey Hospital/Virtua Voorhees  for 37 years, primarily in the Medical Records Department where she also forged lifelong friendships.

Jackie enjoyed many things about life, including singing, dancing, playing cards (especially poker), bingo, horse races and the casino's. More than anything though, she just enjoyed being with the people she loved the most. She loved to travel around the world and visit new places. Jackie was filled with fun, laughter, joy, compassion and most of all vigor, which lovingly impacted the life of everyone she knew along the way.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday April 14, 2022 from 10:00AM to 11:30AM at the COSTANTINO-PRIMO FUNERAL HOME, 231 W. WHITE HORSE PIKE, BERLIN NJ 08009. Funeral service 11:30AM at the funeral home. Interment in Berlin Cemetery, Berlin NJ will take place privately. Although Jacqulyn loved flowers, contributions in her name to Samaritan Hospice at PO Box 71425, Philadelphia PA 19146 would be appreciated.
