Obituary of Dorothy E. Ferrara

Dorothy E. Ferrara (née Hutton), 91 years young, passed on to a new journey on June 2, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Leonard Ferrara, Sr. Loving Mother of Reverend Joseph R. Ferrara, Lori Fidanza (late Joseph), Daniel (Brenda) Ferrara, Jill (George) Britton and the late Leonard Ferrara, Jr. Sister of Charles (Angela) Brown. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dorothy was a three-time cancer survivor. She was also a faithful and longtime employee of Virtua (Garden State) Hospital in Marlton where she worked as a registrar for 38 years.  

How do we tell you about the gift that was our Mother? She was a Knight in Shining Armor. She was a great influence in the lives of her children. Her resourcefulness was the greatest gift she gave to her children and empowered us to be the best that we could be. 

The beauty she brought to our lives will always shine. Momma Dorothy could do everything; self-taught on the hospital computer, very savvy regarding family finances, well read, and a wonderful chef.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Tuesday June 7, 2022 from 9:00AM to 10:30AM at the COSTANTINO-PRIMO FUNERAL HOME, 231 W. WHITE HORSE PIKE, BERLIN NJ 08009. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00AM at St. Simon Stock Parish Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 178 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin NJ. Interment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin NJ.
