Obituary of Frank W. Sandt, Jr.

Frank W. Sandt, Jr., 83 years, of Blackwood NJ, passed away on August 13, 2022. Beloved husband of Annetta Sandt (née Mazziotta). Loving father of Patti Ann Sandt and Paula Miller (Paul). Dear brother of Dorothy Busch. Cherished grandfather of Brittany (Raymond), Megan (Andrew) and Dalton and great grandfather of Lily and Oliver.

 

Frank was a proud US Air Force veteran. He served from 1961 to 1967 retiring from the reserves as a sergeant. He then worked for over 30 years at the New Jersey Turnpike, retiring as a supervisor. After retirement he worked for several years for the First Student bus company as a school bus driver. “Mr. Frank” was a favorite driver with the children and families along his routes.

 

He loved Florida and having drinks at Shuckers and dinners at The Dolphin Bar in Jensen Beach. He also enjoyed an occasional cigar and bourbon while relaxing with his family and friends.  

 

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday August 19, 2022 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at the COSTANTINO-PRIMO FUNERAL HOME, 231 W. WHITE HORSE PIKE, BERLIN NJ 08009. Memorial service 11:00AM at the funeral home. Interment will take place privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Animal Orphanage at 419 Cooper Rd., Voorhees NJ 08043 would be appreciated.
