Obituary of Gregory J. Natson

Gregory Joseph Natson was born on January 14,1957 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Irvin Natson Jr. and Estelle Powell Natson. Gregory attended school in Philadelphia until the 10th grade. He and his family moved to Williamstown, New Jersey where he then graduated from Williamstown High School. Upon graduating, he attended Hampton University where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in 1978. Gregory went on to work for the Philadelphia public school system until he retired. After retirement, he moved back to New Jersey but because of his love for education, he continued his career in education at Whitman Elementary School in Turnersville, New Jersey. Gregory loved music and singing thus this love inspired him to join the Saint Thomas Gospel Choir in Philadelphia. The Choir held performances at the Kimmel Center during the Christmas season, and eventually giving Gregory the opportunity as choir member, to perform and tour in Italy.

Gregory is predeceased by his father, Irvin Natson Jr. and his brother, Anthony Natson Gregory. He survived by his loving mother, Estelle Natson and family members Charlene Miller, Damon Miller, Montgue Claybrook, Michelle Claybrook and Jason Claybrook. As well as a host of friends from school and work.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, November 14, 2022 from 6:00PM-7:00PM at the Commitment Community Church, 2 Berlin Road South, Lindenwold, NJ 08021. Memorial service 7:00PM at the church. Interment to take place privately. In lieu of flowers donations to Feed the Children, 333 N. Meridian Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73107 would be appreciated.
