Obituary of Kristine Abdullah

Kristine Abdullah, (née Layser) 56 years old, of Lindenwold, New Jersey passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday March 11^th 2023 after a long battle with uterine cancer. Born on June 17^th 1966 to the late Lloyd and Dolores Layser (née Colofranson). She was raised in Waterford Works, New Jersey and graduated from Edgewood High School in 1984. 

Kristine is survived by her devoted husband of 19 years, Brian Abdullah, loving sister Rosemarie Layser, mother-in-law Lorraine Abdullah, sister-in-law LaChia Bradshaw, nephews Christopher, Douglas, Patrick Lukasiewicz and Lucas Bradshaw, great aunt to Nathan, Logan and Abigail Lukasiewicz. In addition, the past two years of Kristine’s life was made easier with the help of her dearest friend Jacqueline Gargano, her many friends at Freedom Mortgage, and her neighbors Kathy Noefer, Peg, and Jen. Last but not least, her loyal pets Chloe and Gabby who showed her love, and would bring a smile to her beautiful face.

Kristine worked as a Closing Loan Officer for Freedom Mortgage in Mount Laurel NJ since 2015, prior to that she was employed by Guarantee Rate, Columbia Bank, TD Bank and Commerce Bank.

Kristine loved spending weekends and summers at Timberline Lake Camping Resort in New Gretna where her and Brian had their second home. She would refer to it as her “little piece of paradise”. There she was free to wear flipflops and gab away all day with her many friends.   

Kristine was an avid baker, whipping up delicious cheesecakes, candy, cupcakes, cookies, and wonderful moonshine. She would never go to anyone’s home, or party emptyhanded. 

Most importantly, Kristine was a family girl, she never missed any opportunity to be with her family, for holidays, birthdays, graduations, and in times of sorrow she was always there, holding a hand, showing her love and support in any way she could.    

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Saturday, March 18^th, 2023 from 2:00 to 3:00PM at COSTANTINO-PRIMO FUNERAL HOME, 231 W. WHITE HORSE PIKE BERLIN, NJ 08009.
