Obituary of Thomas W. Peters

Thomas W. Peters, age 83 of Berlin, NJ, passed away on May 6, 2023. 

Tom was born in Philadelphia and has resided in Berlin for the last 58 years. He worked as an Optician at U.S. Vision for many years before retiring. He was a skilled saxophone player and was a past member of the Quaker City String Band. Thomas was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. He really enjoyed watching the Phillies play. Thomas was the epitome of a family man. He cherished spending time with all of them, especially his grandchildren.

Beloved husband of Geraldine Peters (née Calabrese). Devoted father of Thomas J. Peters and Karen M. Cullmann (Christopher). Dear brother of Dorothy Adams and the late Joseph T. Peters. Proud grandfather of Christopher, Nicholas, Ryan, and Tyler. He also leaves behind two surviving nephews and many other family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at Saint Simon Stock Parish, 178 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00AM. Interment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Thomas's memory to St. Vincent DePaul, 157 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009 or another charity of your choice.
