Obituary of Gilda Romano

Gilda Romano, 101 years, of Margate, formerly of South Philadelphia and Cherry Hill, passed away on May 21, 2023. Daughter of the late Francesco and Carmella (née Tornicasa) DiGiuseppe. Beloved wife of the late Michael Romano. Loving mother of Cynthia (David) Steinbrecher. Cherished grandmother of Jill (Gal) Buchman, Caryn (Eduardo) Guido and great grandmother of Ella, Romi and Camila. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. 

Gilda was a devout Catholic. She enjoyed cooking, needlepoint, going to the casinos and spending time with her family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at Saint Simon Stock Parish, 178 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial with begin at 11:00AM. Entombment to follow in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Cherry Hill, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Gilda’s name to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692 would be appreciated.
