Obituary of Richard C Ward, Sr.

Richard C. “Dick” Ward, Sr., of Berlin NJ, age 89, passed away on January 31, 2021. Dick is survived by Mary Ward, the mother of their daughters, Diana (William) Wilcox, Denise (Dominick) Berenato, and Dawn Debonis; his siblings, Eva Gray and Robert Ward; his grandchildren, William, Michael, Eden, Jarad, Aaron, Leah, Diana, Adrienne, John and Anthony; and great grandfather of Billy, Adelle, Clementine, Adrie, Marli, Jazmyn, Kaitlyn and Thalia. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Madeline Ward; his son, Richard Ward, Jr., and his grandson, Richard Wilcox. 

 

A lifelong resident of Berlin, NJ, Dick graduated from Haddon Heights High School and spent most of his working years as a HVAC business owner and member of Sheet Metal Workers Union #19. Whether enjoying his retirement with his family in New Jersey or at his residence in Florida, for Dick, it was always “5 o’clock somewhere.”
