Obituary of Scott Ryan Monetti

Scott Monetti, 41 years, of Cape May Court House NJ, passed away unexpectedly on May 16, 2022. He was born in Long Branch NJ and grew up in both Toms River and Voorhees, NJ.

He is survived by his children Alexandria Stockum Monetti, Christopher Asaytuno Monetti, Cayla Asaytuno Monetti and Cameron Asaytuno Monetti; his parents William and Lynne (née Gross) Monetti; siblings William Monetti Jr. (April), Lyndsey Ann Monetti and Jasons wife Linda Monetti; aunts and uncles, Carole Miller, June Monetti Pateman, Uncle Joe Pateman, Aunt Lainie Pronel Boyer (Damon), Uncle Frank Monetti, Jr., and the late Aunt Eileen Chidnese; many cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces. He also leaves behind Cathy Asaytuno, the mother of his children Christopher, Cayla and Cameron. 

He was pre-deceased by his brother Jason Monetti; maternal grandparents Albert Gross and Elaine Manis; paternal grandparents Frank Monetti and June Thiel; uncle Steven Gross; and aunts Barbara Nauman and Patricia Bergenbush. 

Scott’s personality was one of a kind, always joking, laughing and always in high gear! His love for the New York Yankees was like his oldest brother Jason, that he not only watched them play, but visited Yankee Stadium and was a collector of their cards during his youth. He loved all his childhood pets, especially his pet ferret.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Wednesday May 25, 2022 from 11:00AM to 12:00PM at the COSTANTINO-PRIMO FUNERAL HOME, 231 W. WHITE HORSE PIKE, BERLIN NJ 08009.
